 Snow Removal

 12/10/2024 Snow Update

Good morning,

The snow contractor was out to check snow depths this morning, and while there is 3-5 inches on porches and turf, they did not measure 3 inches on the sidewalks or roads. The snow varied from 2.0 inches to about 2.10 inches in various areas.

The sun is expected to come out today with a high temperature near 40 degrees. Tomorrow it is projected to be 50 degrees. This snow will quickly begin to melt off and in the meantime will create some traction on the slippery roads.

Snow Removal Services for the 2024-2025 season will be handled by CDI Environmental Contractors. CDI will monitor and assess snow accumulation during each storm. They have 3 locations within DW to take measurements of snow accumulation.

Snow triggers:

3-inches: W Long Circle and main sidewalks will be cleared.

5- inches: All streets, sidewalks, driveways and private walkways will be cleared.

Please keep in mind that if something seems missed, the contractor may not be done working yet. They will likely circle back to complete that section. Homeowners should not expect for your HOA snow contact to respond while the snowstorm is still in progress or while snow removal crews are still on site.

Please see the Snow Policy Form for more information:
